I'm a dab hand at fixing this plumbing these days. And I can cook too. It is annoying. I know I can DIY, but I get wet enough in training thank you very much.
I had the most awful dream the other night. I was out front, coming home late as usual when there was a big light. Came out of nowhere. The light kinda swoops down on me and next thing I know I'm caught in a tractor beam. Kicking and screaming like I'm a starlet in some b movie. That is just not me, right? So, I get sucked up into this spaceship. There's a floaty blackness and then I get dumped back on my lawn. It was really scary and really, really dumb. I must be working too hard and watching too many X-Files reruns.
We have our exams next month so I'm studying hard. Wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteI was so stunned and perhaps a little annoyed. I'm going for a semi-realistic feel so I didn't know what to do with an abduction at first. Too dramatic not to take pics of, especially with her being an astronaut. This was my compromise.

I like how she rationalised her abduction into just being a realistic dream just bought on by too much tv.
ReplyDeleteThese abductions always happen at the worst times when it comes to story writing. I've had a similar thing happen where my sim who hiding from aliens was abducted and it could have ruined my story but i found a way round it too. I like how you managed to incorporate it.
